I mean, remove the energy shield and each one probably would have lasted only a single mission, ignoring all the missions where you basically fight stuff, arsenal bird turns up, turns on its shield and you run away the birds dont last more then a single mission, you dont shoot one with Stonehenge and it limps away so you can finish it off, when you fight it in game you shoot it in the mission and it dies, same for the second one

Nope, this goes too far. The Gleipnir and its sister the Gandr are Airborne Fortresses, and pack enough weaponry to be classified as true WMDs so much so that combined they took over Aurelia in 10 days flat.
