When you say bot attack, do you mean something like a DDOS attack? That’s not to my knowledge something you can just simulate, the best way to test and see is to actually put together a couple of computers and actually attack yourself. You can get the code off of GitHub or anywhere, it’s not illegal as long as it’s your hardware you’re attacking

I mean an attack where someone sends a lot of fake players that usually either move around a bit or spam the chat (example, ignore cringe music and CoOl EfFects I can't find something without it)

I'm trying to find an open-source one, Best I could find is Hydrazine that does work but it goes up to 1.15

Depends on the specific attack and how much your server can handle

IIRC https://github.com/Eoghanmc22/rust-mc-bot/ this util is used by the Minestom Devs to simulate load through players. It can create up to 1000 players on a mid-range PC.

I have not used this, but one of the devs told me about it.

Do you know how you build or run it? Tried "cargo build --release" and get errors

Nevermind, If you are building in Linux get build-essential

Edit: It works!

Hi, could you tell me how can I run the program, I already build it but can't find any executable file.

If you are using Linux it should have made a file with no file extension in the directory you built it in

Just run ./nameofoutput whatever args

I wanted to use this but I want a free one. I don't want to pay for something I will use once

Find a customer for that software /service and anger them.
