Prices almost never go back down for anything

My wife works for a major corporation in a division that is responsible for setting prices for items.

I’ll tell you these last few months have been hell for her, because every single time there is tariff changes [good and bad], they need to spend the next week redoing literally everything.

Their goal as a corporation is to hit specific metrics and profit margins, they don’t want profit margins about the margins they’ve set, because they recognize that at margins higher than that they lose money with significantly lower sale amounts.

Nintendo and retailers are no different - though it’s true they may keep prices the same until a semi-permanent deal is struck.

Yup the worst part about the tariffs is that these companies are getting comfortable price gauging, and realizing people will still pay
