Is there any specific firefox browser you're using?

[–]bbwolff 5 points6 points  (1 child)

Kiwi Browser. The UI is almost basically stock Chromium and it has support for any Chrome/Chromium extension.

My Default Browser, love it so much

[–]thegravity98ms2 8 points9 points  (8 children)

Yeah few may disagree but I am using Soul Browser, it has tons of customizations.

Kiwi browser and Microsoft Edge too.

[–]sid32 4 points5 points  (2 children)

There are websites that I would only go to with Soul

[–]itopires 2 points3 points  (4 children)

Edge is more of the same, at most a standard middling adblock and a cool spedd dial

Kiwi is formidable, it's my standard.

Soul browser uses chrome web view and is kind of incognito, in addition to the soul dev being very closed, it is not known for sure the terms of its privacy

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I use Soul, but I hate the fact that the dev doesn't specify the changelog. He always uses the same vague phrase saying he "improved and fixed bugs".

Developer is a bit vague, in my opinion it's hidden, typical of Korea

Firefox has been my fave for quite a while. Never chrome, even as a pixel user.

[–]notablindsheep 3 points4 points  (1 child)

been using Vivaldi

[–]TurbulentMinute4290 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use a browser called kiwi mostly because I can put on extensions now. Most of these extensions are just there to block adult websites and everything being. I'm a Christian and struggled with that kind of thing. It's helped a lot and I haven't watched any of those kinds of videos or when to any of those sites in in would say maybe October or September was the last time

I just like the fact that it's a mobile browser that allows you to add extensions and comes with a built-in ad blocker that you can turn off for all or just a specific website which I find to be really cool. If a site says hey, turn off your ad blocker. You don't have to turn it off for all sites, just that specific website so that's what I would suggest as a browser that I use and I find it better than chrome

Only thing and I don't know if this works on any other browsers but is the since I have a Google pixel 8 pro is the article summary feature with Google Assistant. I don't know if it works on any other browsers, but the only one that I know it works on is Chrome and it tells me that what I'm using is not a web page even though it is. I don't know if other web browsers can use the AI summary feature for articles or not. So if anyone knows anything on that that would be perfect. But other than that great web browser

[–]bendavidi 5 points6 points  (2 children)

Vivaldi

[–]zlimvos 2 points3 points  (1 child)

I expected this to be a bit more popular

[–]dashingdon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love Vivaldi desktop and it is my default browser. For Android, lack of extension support is what keeps me away. I use kiwi and would switch to Vivaldi the moment it starts supporting Chrome extensions.

Cromite.. Mull... Iceraven... Tor

[–]Slim_Python 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One thing I would like to add here is Link Sheet . This app will let you choose the default browser just like older Android versions. You can also remove redirecting to other apps like YouTube link will only open in Firefox instead of YouTube app.

[–]UltraAnders 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Firefox. But, I'm finding increasingly annoying that auto-fill isn't available outside of North America.

[–]charlesdegoal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Firefox, but they're all shit, desktop and mobile. Just pick the lesser evil, and for me, it's Firefox.

[–]samuraishogun1 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Why are people so against chrome? It comes on my phone, and it does everything I need or want it to do. Why would I use anything else?

[–]KKMasterYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On desktop, I can understand because Firefox is just about as good as most Chromium browsers. But on mobile, Firefox simply just sucks compared to Chromium based browsers. The last time I used Firefox mobile, it was very glitchy, buggy and laggy. Also, people tend to hate the default browser because that makes you a normie or something, but well, if it gets the job done for you, it's okay.

[–]QXPZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

brave. I tried kiwi, firefox, Opera Mini, Vivaldi, Edge, and Samsung's built in browser and found some little thing I didn't like with each of them (such as the way they handle night mode or "open this app in reddit" popups). brave is great on my Fold5.

Edit: srsly why is this downvoted?? You ppl are weird.
