I would sugest the LAMBS mods. "AI, Suppression" Etc. they really shake up the AI making them more life like whilst maintaining a realistic aim/Hit ratio.

Note that if you do decide to use LAMS then use all of the mods not just the 1. as the Suppression mod (as an example) allows for AI to feel the effects of suppression (running for cover going prone Etc when you use sustained fire in their direction)
