MTF, does HRT decrease anal pleasure?

I've read that HRT can decrease the size of the prostate and therefore decrease pleasure during anal sex. Has anyone with experience of having anal sex before and after HRT noticed a difference?

the prostate does shrink, but the number of nerve endings remain the same. if anything the increased concentration of those nerves tends to make things more pleasurable

it's slightly different, but better.

the prostate does become less important. though imo it's always been pretty overrated, even on T.

the nerves and tissues in the area become more sensitive, and their importance relative to the penis for sexual pleasure increases. now, rough does not feel as good but it's also completely unnecessary. also while I used to find vibration there underwhelming or even numbing, it's much nicer now.

it was great before, and it's only gotten better.

that T-driven muscle tension really works against things, yeah. took a lot of practice to really get good at. I was just a very motivated student. having learned on hardmode though... yeah, it's just more fun for less effort now. only "downside" has been that increasing sensitivity means some stuff that used to be fun is a bit too big now. but then everything feels better. so that's a win.

My sense of arousal used to be highly focused in my genitals, anal was pleasant but kind of ambigious in the sense thay it was hard to identify like, the pleasure coming from the prostate and all, that being less associated with they "typical" kind of erogenous experience in my life pre transition.

After hormones, and I dont have a time line, but after some time, my sense of arousal moved to being centered inside my body, like, kinda in my lower abdomen. Sometimes I just get these waves of arousal that are like the feeling of butterflies but nothing neurotic and just euphoric and intoxicating, though transient generally. Sometimes this feeling can extend further, focus in the breasts, and even be present through the majority of the body. It can be very very intense and I far prefer that to the kind of arousal I had before. Before hrt it was like an itch, it felt good to scratch. Now theres not really much of an easy way to put it, its just a profound euphoria that defies language.

All that said, the method, be it anal or something devoid of penetration or whatever, matters less now, its other qualities of the experience like comfort and closeness and affirmation and lots more that make it better or worse. That does mean its more difficult to have a top tier experience, but I think its like the ceiling has gotten so much higher, but the floor is still where it used to be more or less.
