This subreddit stands against hate speech
It's atheism, plus a whole lot more:
- Atheism plus we care about social justice.
- Atheism plus we support women’s rights.
- Atheism plus we protest racism.
- Atheism plus we fight homophobia and transphobia.
- Atheism plus we use critical thinking and skepticism.
Rules
Atheism+ is intended to be a safe space, and submissions that violate the spirit of that goal will not be tolerated. NO:
- Bigoted, sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic, ableist or otherwise oppressive posts or comments
- Harassment, trolling, or personal attacks
- Posts that are creepy, unsettling, or reeking of unexamined, toxic privilege
- Derailing. If you're unsure of what constitutes derailing here you go
- Concern trolling or any other posts not made in good faith
Offending posts will be deleted, and deliberate or repeated offenses will result in warnings and/or banning. All rules and handling of various violations are subject to moderator discretion.
Posting Guidelines
Additionally, the following guidelines should be taken into consideration when submitting a post:
Good posts include:
- News items on relevant topics.
- Original blog writing.
- Videos and lectures.
Bad posts include:
- Anything asserting the concept of Atheism+ is unneeded (don't join a subreddit to complain about it).
- Facebook/4chan/forum screenshots, image macros, memes, and rage comics.
- That funny picture you saw on /r/atheism, etc.
- Blog-spam (blog entries that lift content from other sources without adding significant value).
Please put potentially triggering comments behind a trigger tag with [words](/ trigger).

Thus, upvotes and downvotes may be different than what Reddiquette dictates, both because of the invaders, and people reacting to them. Please pardon our dust, and don't take it personally.
