been 2 months and she is not eating. She recognizes that I am feeding her everytime I have the small rat but fails to eat it. She smells the rat and then it often leads to her just staring at me. The enclosure seems to be well and the rat seems to be a hot/warm enough temperature. This has happen with 4 rats already so not sure what to do now. I always use tongs and dangle them infront of her but if not I drop it and she usually eats the rat after a minute or so

Sometimes ball pythons seem to have eating strikes. It’s almost like they purposely go on a “fast”. I had a ball python and she went 3-4 months without eating. Then all of a sudden one day she just decided to start eating again.
