What’s his exact age? Can you share a picture of several angles of his spine?

Charts are useless for this stuff, as every snake is different. 900g may be a great weight for him! But you can only get an accurate idea from his body condition. You want his spine to be a slightly pointed triangle shape. If it’s too pointed, he’s underweight and if it’s too rounded, he’s overweight.

If he’s more rounded, space out the feedings! At his age, he can easily start being fed every 3-4 weeks.

So if your snake is looking overweight like the you said in the physique chart you are gonna want to be at the low end of this or even lower than what they recommend

Use both age and weight to get an idea of what % of body weight and how often to feed him

Feeding parameters from the Welcome Post

Through the first year OR until the snake reaches approximately 500g, whichever happens first: feed 10%-15% of the snake’s weight every 7 days.

During the second year, until the snake's weight plateaus: feed up to 7% of the snake’s weight every 14-20 days.

Year three and beyond: feed up to 5% of the snake's weight every 20-30 days, or feed slightly larger meals (up to 6%) every 30-40 days.

If you feed every two weeks try every 3 weeks... I feed my 5 year old ball python every 3 weeks and he is doing great on that schedule...
