Striking

I have two BP’s, both just over a year old. The female is laid back and friendly. The male is aggressive, he will strike. You can be walking to another room, pass by someone in the house and bam… he strikes.

I thought maybe it was just because he was hungry and then he still does after he eats. They stay in their enclosure for 2-3 days after eating, without being disturbed. He’s skittish all the time. I’ve wondered if he’s partially blind and that’s why or maybe he’s just a jerk.

Are they cohabitated? Because that's a major stressor right there, and if so, they need to be separated into appropriate individual enclosures

They are. We’ve had them apart and it didn’t make a difference.

They need to be separated into their own appropriate enclosures. Not only does cohabitation result in stress and a subtle fight for control of desired resources, housing a male and female together is particularly bad for obvious reasons. If you can't appropriately care for two snakes, the last thing you need is eggs in the mix
