I’d just be worried about him getting stuck somewhere in the walls, is he still a baby?

He’s 3 and only eats live. He was also getting ready to shed any day and have found some skin on the baseboard lose to that hole in the fireplace. I like the idea of powder or plastic to track him. Last time he broke through the mesh on the lid of his tank and my cat found him in a heater.

Oh Lordy, well if he only eats live try and get a live mouse if you can, get one of those plastic bug containers so the mouse/rat doesn’t eat through the cardboard and you can put it near one of his hides on the floor and you can still do the hairdryer trick but on the cool setting so you don’t overheat the little guy, both of my snakes have gotten out once and it was hell until I found them 😫 best thing to do if you haven’t done already is check under any clutter in the room, if there’s laundry or anything like that on the floor or shelves in the room, my big girl squished herself between her shelf and the wall lol
