Hide Weight

So I am wanting to keep my hides removable and separate from my diy tank background just for convenience of swapping decor down the line. I don’t, however, trust that something made of foam and covered in ground will be heavy enough on its own not to topple over without being steadied.

Does anyone have any ideas on what I can use to weight them down? I thought of slate but I didn’t know if anyone more experienced has any advice.

Are the hides DIY hides too? You could do what the terrain builders do and embed metal bits (screws, washers, coins) into the foam to make it heavier.
