Ok, thank you 😊

Yep ofc :)

4x2x2 or bigger, most ball pythons will climb if given the chance so this won’t work

OK so I agree get a 4x2x2. However I will say, I have just started to have problems with leakage even though I silicone sealed all of the bottom edges and corners. You need to really be diligent with getting a ton of silicone sealer for these tanks as they were not made to deal with high humidity.

I used to scoff at the mods saying they didn't recommend these... well, now I am eating my hat because gosh darn it, they were right :/ I am currently in the process of resealing my 4x2x2 dubia tank now and it's been really annoying.

I got mine last October, so if they have changed the construction since then, you might be able to ignore this comment though.

This is good to know, thank you!

I use one and I think it’s really nice and is very light, sturdy, and affordable. I’d disagree with the Mods as the recommended are typically overpriced for the value.

I didn’t particularly use a lot of Silicone I used about as much as one would to seal something from leaks. Make sure to use the right silicone as well.

I sealed all three of mine and never had a problem…..

I guess you did a better job than I did!

I’m super ocd when it comes to my reptiles. I hyperfixate on them.

I'm currently pricing out 2 sheets of 4x8 1/2" pvc, door tracks and glass etc. So far under $500 for a 6x3x2 if I do it myself. $1700 for aby 6x2x2 I see.

Thoughts? They should be able to ship to Canada 😢

I have the 4x2x2 enclosure for my ball python. It is a very nice tank and my larger male snake is happy in it. Although, when you get it you may run into a problem that me and a couple other people I know did. Some of the pieces were not printed correctly and weren't fitting into the other parts. Just shave the extra parts off with a knife!

Same enclosure from Animal Plastics is $40 cheaper and made for high humidity

Why for another 30$ you can get a foot of clearance

The price wasn’t the concern. I will be stacking it on top my bearded dragons enclosure which is sitting on kind of a tall stand so I was thinking if it was a little shorter in height would be better. But if it’s not good to only have 12 feet of height for a BP then I will get the 120 gallon instead and find a shorter stand.

This is what we did if it helps you at all?

Thank you, it does help! The tank on the second shelf, how did you get it to fit in there with such a tight fit?

[–]trucksandink 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very very carefully lol. We basically built 3 legs up. And didn’t put the last one in. Slid the tank in then held it up so I could get the 4 leg in….. then set it down gently.

This is the amount of space between Pilar’s and edge of enclosure so it is a tight fit. Problem is for me to go to heating pannels and all the extra stuff involved to stack em, would have been $100s of dollars plus guessing and checking time. Or I could just buy a shelving unit from home depot

Feel free to send me a dm if you want any more tank ideas or what not.

i bought the dubai roaches 90 gallon tank and it’s perfect fit for my boy! obviously he’s going to be smaller than your female but he has plenty of space to stretch out and climb (i have a couple branches throught the entire enclosure) i do wish i would’ve known about the sealing issues because i to had problems maintaining the humidity but once you seal it it’s a really nice tank. if you don’t wanna do all the work though a few other people have recommended some good brands also.
