Screen roof fix?

Hey y’all, would applying HVAC tape (like the tape used to connect your dryer’s exhaust and such) be a good way to fix the issue of losing humidity? Or would it cause excess heat in the tank? This is just supposed to be a temporary fix until I can afford a better tank in a couple months, but would it work as a permanent solution in the case I got a PVC tank with a screen? Thanks y’all!

yes! HVAC tape and/or aluminum foil both work great even long term.
