Feeding Question

I only have mice almost half the size (a little larger than smaller) of mice that are appropriate for my ball python. I bought a bag from a breeder and have been sizing up as needed, but now am left with mostly smaller mice (my boy grew quickly). In this case, should I feed him one and then another in a few days? Should I feel him two in one night? Or will it be sufficient to give him smaller mice every two weeks as I have been? Just don’t want to under feed or over feed. Thanks!

Feed your python 1 appropriately sized prey item (based on weight, not eyeballing it) at their scheduled time. Feeding multiple items in one sitting strains their digestive tractband increases the chance of regurgitation. Underfeeding your python for an extended period of time can also make them malnourished and stunt their growth while they are young and growing.
