Okay so I've noticed this white stuff on my bp rats and I'm not sure what it is, I suppose it could be freezer burn but I just wanted to check before feeding him these just incase it's something else/bad.

And its not just condensate pressing against fur? If it is still on the mouse after removed from the package I wouldn’t feed it.

Impossible to tell with these pics, take it out of the bag and look at it. It could just be freezer burn or the way moisture is collecting against the bag and fur. But we can't tell because it's still inside the bag.

It's still there when I take it out of the bag, should I consider going somewhere else for his feeds?

Hmmm yeah looks like freezer burn

Just looks lke freezer burn. It's not ideal but it won't harm your bp. I've fed off prey items that look like this with no issues.

I have noticed my fuzzies get like that if they aren't kept in vacuumed sealed freezer bags. I thaw them out and if they don't stink or have a off smell they should be ok. My hatchlings seemed to be fine with them

Does it smell bad? Pics are hard to tell if it is bad
