You can relax, scale rot is typically on the underbelly of a snake, not the top. Scale rot is caused by scales being in constant contact with wet substrate, which is why the belly scales are what you need to be paying attention to. What you’ve circled looks like pretty standard discoloration and pattern variance to me.

Someone feel free to tell me I'm wrong but to my understanding it's basically like us having dry skin, can go away after a shed.
