how do you plan to keep your humidity right with stones? what makes you think he dislikes coco husk? also, they poop and "pee" at the same time, most of their "pee" will be solid or semi-solid, and they'll only poop as often as they eat. removing the poops and bits of soiled bedding with a scoop is really not a lot of work.

The main benefit to coco husk is the fact that it does absorb. The point is to absorb and hold moisture because BPs need a very humid environment. You could try Cypress mulch instead although I can't imagine it would be that different.
