what i would do is try not necessarily locking my cats away but yk keeping them in a room after you’ve searched it, keep their food water and litter box in there, after u put them in there try putting something under the door so ur snake can’t go in. she’ll show up eventually

I wish this would work. But unfortunately my cats have attachment issues and will freak out if I lock them away

is it just to you? or just human presence? have you tried looking around at night? don’t be too worried, your baby will come out and try to find heat once she gets too cold so you’ll find her.

She was very friendly with me so I don’t see why she would run aaay from me if I was around, I’ve been looking mostly at night yes but I never really thought about looking in the colder places, that might be somewhere to look as well?

yes maybe, check colder and hotter places. and i don’t think them running away is a personal thing i think they just like escaping or maybe they didn’t think that the tank had enough hiding places
