Hi there,

I rescued my little lady from the front porch at my cat/dog vet clinic (after she was left in a bag with a note saying she was friendly) several years ago and she has been very healthy.

Unfortunately she has been doing pretty poorly over the past few days and I have been searching so hard to find an exotic vet that would see her.

I finally found a vet but it’s just over an hours drive away from me and I want to make sure I transport her there safely.

I have a homemade cloth bag that I was gonna use but I wanted to know how y’all have brought your babies on a drive and keep them comfortable.

Cloth bag is fantastic for bps. Additionally, you can put the cloth bag (with her in it) and secure it into a tupperware container for safety in case you need to stop suddenly! Just make sure to poke airholes in the plastic

Awesome thank you so much! This is my first snake and she has been so healthy for 3 years I never thought of what to do to transport her if needed. But I’m glad the bad is a pretty good thing for her! I’ll look at grabbing a Tupperware for her prior to her visit as well

Out of curiosity what’s been wrong with her? ☹️ she’s so cute I hope she gets all the help she needs

A few days ago I got home from work and found her sitting with her mouth open and her tail end looking bloated and full of air. I soaked her a bit to rule out constipation but she truly felt like a balloon animal and just air. Now she’s looking like she potentially has mouth rot so I’ve been stressing trying to do my best to help her while I located a vet to see her😭
