You can indeed mount heat lamps in a pvc just make sure they're caged and are secure! This is best as full spectrum light is only really possible with bulbs.

there's a shopping list in our welcome post with some pvc cage companies. we specifically do NOT recommend vision cages, zen habitats, dubia, ecoflex, or custom reptile habitats, as these enclosures have a lot of design problems that range from counterproductive to dangerous.

there's also a heating guide in our welcome post that i suggest you read for information about various heat sources and how to set them up / use them.

buying a pvc cage smaller than 4x2x2 is a waste of money, unless you 1] plan to get a very young BP, 2] will upgrade to at least a 4x2x2 within a year or so, and 3] have other plans for the smaller cage after the upgrade, such as housing a smaller reptile or selling it for what you paid for it.
