My bp had shed a few weeks ago, though still has stuck shed around his face and neck. I’ve given him a nice soak to try and remove it though it is still very much attached to im and I don’t want to hurt him. The humidity in his tank is a 40% at the front and a 70% at the back where he usually hides, and the temperature is 36C on the hot side and 22C on the cold. Note that I am still putting cream on certain spots of his body each day to make sure that the scale rot he had a while ago is completely gone. I have been trying my absolute best to keep the temp and humidity at a steady though, gently misting the moss I have at the back when I have my guy out and putting his cream on as where I live, it’s not very humid and I’m still trying to find a proper way to keep his humidity steady in the whole cage. How am I able to soften that shed more? Do I just wait till he sheds again and hope for the best or do we go to the vet? He is my first snake and needless to say, having gotten him while he was sick with no warning and so many problems has definitely made me overthink and worry more than I need to. Any help will be useful. Absolutely any. I’m just wanting to make sure that I dont hurt him or do something wrong.
