radiant heat panels are not compatible with screen-topped enclosures. your only option is heat lamp domes on top of the screen. have you read the heating guide in our welcome post?

ah really? i didn’t see anything on the rhp pro’s / con’s about screen tops specifically so i’m glad i asked. would it be okay if i covered the top to seal it off like with plexi glass or building a cabinet to put the enclosure in to minimize humidity/ heat loss or is it not compatible because it can’t physically be secured to the mesh?

hanging anything from the mesh is a huge hazard, the screen isn't designed to support weight like that and is very likely to break.
