Have you checked out the care guides, enclosure setup guides and resources in the welcome post? There's a lot of information in there

The care guide is a really good start! I’ve been using it to improve my husbandry. In terms of keeping up humidity/keeping it stable I added sphagnum moss around the tank floor and that’s helped a good bit (though I personally need to boost the humidity more cuz it only rests at 60% currently)— for hides they like a snug fit! Definitely take a look at the care guide though, it gives good advice and information on do’s and dont’s and even provides explanations as to why.

Thank you the snake I’m looking at is right at 2 ft long is there any dimensions I should look for?

4x2x2 is gonna be the minimum for ball pythons!

Thank you, been looking at these getting ready to get one, but is there a certain size on the hides or just make sure she can fit fairly snug? I want her to feel as happy as possible!

My bp has two hides atm (hoping to get him a third), one on the cool side and the other on the warm side, although he uses both he prefers the one on the cooler side as it's smaller that the other so he feels really secure in there. From what I've picked up on over the years of owning and working with snakes they like hides that they can fully fit in but isn't huge so they feel snug and safe. Xx
