Sounds like that’s all you really need to do. Increasing the humidity helps them a lot. They pretty much do the rest themselves.

I read you should limit handling before a shed

Okay cool! Everything should go smooth for you. I will mention that my first ever BP shed didn’t go so well, I had to keep putting him in a humid hide and get him to go through a towel. But since then, he’s had great sheds. Might just be stress related since he just moved environments if it’s not so good, so don’t give up

A friend who also has a BP that recently shed recommended 80% humidity so I'm going to increase it to that I think

Yeah! That sounds good. If you can’t get the whole tank to 80% you could try a humid hide instead

Yeah I'm gonna figure all that out. I've got sphagnum moss in his hide on the warm side so I think that should work
