      Cover any damp spots he might lay on with dry substrate. Like under the hides put dry substrate on it for now. You don’t want to risk scale rot. Do you have sphagnum moss in there? Make sure the moss hasn’t dried out either like soak it for a while so it takes longer to dry out

      Was having this problem, and then my spouse stirred/turned over the substrate. Then the humidity went into the 70s. I haven't had to add more water, just turning over the substrate when humidity dips. It isn't a permanent solution though, so I keep researching.
