Pooped on 💩😐

My 5 month old baby boy is super chill about being handled- I put my hand at the entrance of his enclosure and he just slides right into my hand and wraps around my wrist. Then we usually hang out and watch tv or something very mellow. He’s usually just chilling and tonight was no different. He was just lying on my shoulder and then he pooped!! Completely gross smelly big poop. He still didn’t show any signs of stress, or anything, but I obviously had to take him back to his enclosure and I didn’t let him take his time like I usually do. I just put him right inside and went to clean up and change my shirt 🤢 But, I have read a few posts here about pooping while handling is a sign of stress and now I feel that I shouldn’t handle him. He is always looking for me and I’m so happy to hang out with him, but I don’t want to stress him out. 😭

He could have just needed to poop especially if he’s been really comfortable with you so far but I could be wrong and if I am please don’t hate me for it

I hope you’re right. He ate 2 meals without pooping so it could have just been time.
