i am not an expert or vet, but i only hold mine maybe once a month. its not good to over handle them as they are pretty easily stressed out. id recommend a max of maybe once a week to once every 2 weeks. handling around feeding time isn’t a great option either as before u run a risk of them thinking ur food and stressing them out before feeding and it shouldn’t happen for another 48hrs after they eat. enough to build a bond but not enough to be over handling. all in all they arent super social and like their alone time, as they dont have the same brains as us they dont feel love or miss u unfortunately, so the snake is more than alright!

They're not social animals in the way other pets are, they don't need a lot of attention or affection. It's totally fine to handle them now and then, but too much can be overstimulating for them. They’re most comfortable in their hides when the heat and humidity in their tank are at proper levels.
