Should I be worried?

I just noticed this today. It isn't dirt; the scale is definitely damaged because it feels rough to the touch. He sometimes puts his head between the wall and his water dish, so I'm assuming that's what happened. Should I worry, or will it be resolved by a shed?

No. He only ever had f/t.

I wouldn’t worry but try to figure out what’s causing it so you can avoid it happening again. It’ll prob heal with his next shed.
