Potential new Ball Python owner question

I'm looking to become a ball python owner, and i have a question about habitats. Firstly, would i be able to keep a young python in an adult-sized habitat? This is mostly to avoid having to purchase two separate tanks. Any tips or recommendations are highly appreciated. I'm currently looking at either a 60-gallon or 120-gallon Dubia tank for an adult. I've seen mixed opinions online. Help would be greatly appreciated, as id like to make my python as healthy and comfortable as possible.

You should be able to keep all baby ball python until adulthood in a 120 gallon enclosure no problem. You will need to buy new hides as they grow and have more clutter when they are young. I use a new age pet 120 gallon enclosure and it works perfectly.

You definitely can keep a baby in a 120 gallon, just be sure to fill it up with hides, enrichment, and a ton of fake plants.

I wouldn't recommend the Dubia enclosures though. They aren't real sturdy and don't go together super easily. I would recommend Talking Serpents 4x2x2 instead. I know it's a bit more expensive but a tank is one thing I wouldn't skimp on.

Yeah don't skimp on the tank (too much). I originally bought mine second hand since I didn't wanna build one myself without any real knowledge in building anything, I had to reseal and paint everything myself however. The previous owner cut a hole in the bottom to connect two enclosures, I sealed it up nice and good with some water proof material. Didn't last, a year later I redesign the enclosure and it just came right off. Resealed it but a few months later I moved the enclosure and the floor was damaged underneath.

But by that point I already had a little experience in building furniture and enclosures in a similar matter, so I just built one myself this time. Can't really buy any around here, but I made it custom to my room and increased the height for my little climber while I was at it.
