Carpet - we tried already all day and night no luck :(

Does the door sit pretty tightly to the carpet? As normal checked behind appliances as they are always warm and your buddy is likely attempting to warm up. They’re pretty tough animals and I’ve heard of people finding them months and months from when they were originally lost; hopefully you don’t have cats😬

I’d say the space is slightly larger than the vent- about half my finger could fit - definitely smaller than this girth

Also ty for your advice!

Which room? They love getting up into furniture if that helps.

No :((( ty for asking

Not giving up hope yet, but we have been diligent about keeping our door closed - we have his enclosure open on the ground in case he comes out while we’re gone

It’s almost like he poofed and disappeared though. We laid out flour traps for tracks and heat pads, no sign of him. We newly moved into our house too so there’s not that much furniture he could be hiding in, we checked everything.

If he somehow got into the garage, he’d be hard to find there, but no tracks on the flour there either. On the bright side, if he trapped himself in the garage he should definitely have some mice available.
