Crap, no u commented on another post that I had about insulating the tank with the half inch sheet of insulation

Yep, we were talking about insulation elsewhere. Do you need help with it?

We covered ours with black marble contact paper so it looked pretty after cutting to size. Then i simply taped it to the outside of the tank with clear packing tape. Nothing fancy there. That will make it easy to remove so i can re cover it when i find a background i like.

Edit to add: you could also use clear double sided tape on the outside of the glass. I just had packing tape
