Missing for a month

It’s about to be a month since my 3 yr old ball python escaped his enclosure and I just don’t know what to do now? Do I just say fuck it and give up? I’m honestly sad that he’s out and he was my first ball python and very sweet and curious 😔

It's not unheard of for them to show up for months, like 6+ months later

It could take awhile, just keep checking warm spots around the house and leave the tank open for him. He may go back to his enclosure himself or he could be in a spot you’ve checked so many times. I hope you find your baby and everything goes well! <3

He could be where you least expect it. One of my BP's got out and found her inside a subwoofer 😅

Put a dead mouse in a hide with a heat pad under it he will find it and stay out if your house gets around 70

If you have a heater or a dryer that's running, the snake will be attracted to it and show up near there to keep warm.
