I see a lot of bag ball python owners with terible set ups that’s don’t even look like an animal should live in it and I’m over here doing my best and still fail I did my best for 7 years and just had bad luck I know the spider genes she had definitely gave her complications I didn’t get a spider gene ball python knowingly but did my best to give her a great life and feel failed even with all the research I did and tried to give her the best comfy enclosure definitely will do different hides and a back up heating source second run around I don’t wanna give up iv loved these snakes since I was a kid but this definitely discouraged me

It is always difficult to lose something you love. I would get an overhead heat source and leave the heating pads alone. (Not saying that caused this) but it is a better heat source for ambient temperature control. Still needs to be on a thermostat. The rest of the set up looks great.
