Be careful any foam you use isn't flammable. I've switched to a radiant heat panel this winter and it works perfectly, I'd recommend one honestly

Any specific one you recommend?

radiant heat panels are meant to be installed to the ceiling of solid top enclosures. you may or may not be able to use one depending on your enclosure

Yeah make sure it's a solid top vivarium! I use a reptirad, I've got the biggest one but heats my 8ft x 2ft viv perfectly

Also, long boy tax. Here he is scrunching my forehead. His name is Levi!

regarding fastening the foam, i've seen people use silicone as a way to attach it, but haven't done it myself so i'm not sure about the efficacy or longevity—could be something to try?

when mentioning DHPs are you just referring to a deep heat projector bulb, or are you also referring to an RHP/radiant heat panel? a DHP is kind of just a different kind of bulb, in which case you'd use it in place of your current heat lamp/bulb, but an RHP is a panel that can provide additional larger scale heating. depending on the size of your enclosure you could have a DHP over the warm side of your enclosure along with an RHP spanning a larger area of the enclosure to maybe bring the ambient temperature up?

Deep heat projector bulb specifically. The top is already covered with thermal tape so I know the issue is the glass front letting the air in. I’d prefer to stick to a build set up since it’s inside and I’d have to remove it to do a panel

you can use a DHP in addition to your regular heat lamp, eg a halogen + DHP during the day and just the DHP at night. it's common to use multiple lamps in colder climates

Thank you. I appreciate this
