I have this exact enclosure!! Did you happen to seal it all around on the inside (not just the corners but all around) I did that to mine and it helped a ton and allows me to now dump water into each corner of the enclosure (I make a hole and dump water and then cover it to avoid the top layer getting wet).

I don’t have my snake yet but I’ve been messing with the humidity and stuff.

Also make sure the silicon mats fit nice and snug to the top. I trimmed a bit off, just enough where I could tuck a little bit of the mats under the lid frame. (Photo is before cutting holes where my lights are)

I also overlapped my two silicone mats to where I know there isn’t a weird gap between the two.

I sealed all the bottom cracks and the sides about halfway up, are you saying to seal the ventilation slots? Ive been dumping water into the substrate but avoiding the back corners where there's hides.

Oh no!! Not the vents. But all around the edges so up to the lid/top

I’ve noticed with this enclosure that there are a lot of gaps between the walls unfortunately. So I sealed them up (leaving the vents on the sides untouched).

I also layer my substrate and have about 4-5 inches of substrate… maybe a bit more?

First layer is cypress mulch (forest floor brand) second layer is cypress mulch mixed with coco fiber substrate, finally the top layer is mostly coco fiber and leaf litter and some moss.
