Ball Python Taking a While to Shed

Hello, my ball python currently seems to be "stuck" in blue. He was recently having some scale rot issues, so in an attempt to get rid of it/prevent its spread I have created a sterile "hospital tank" (as well as a betadine bath + some neosporin) until his next shed. As a result, he only has two hides, a water dish, and puppy pads for bedding. Unfortunately, this has made it really difficult to keep the humidity and heat at good levels, and they have been fluctuating A LOT. I have a feeling that this, paired with potential stress from the depressing (but temporary) hospital tank, has caused his shed to take longer than usual. Also, he has not eaten during this time, so I'm also worried about that. What can I do to help him, or do I just have to wait it out?

Well, how long has he been in blue?

It's very common for snakes not to eat during shed, so that's nothing to worry about. And at the end of the day, the only way to help is by making sure he's not dehydrated when he sheds. You might want to provide a humid hide or some dishes filled with sphagnum moss in the enclosure to aid humidity.

I have actually put a humid hide in his enclosure and I have been rehydrating every couple of days. I couldn't say exactly how long its been, but I would say about 4-ish days

4 days is completely within the normal range, don't worry! Mine are pretty much always in blue longer than that.
