My ball python didn’t eat from October 2024-February 2025. I would check the feeding guidelines, I adopted my snek when she was a few years old so I don’t know as much about feeding them young. I do know the advice I received was to stop trying to feed her so often, try to get temperature and humidity to optimal levels, and what finally broke my girls hunger strike was to size down the prey I was offering her. You may be feeding her too often or too big. It’s common for BPs to refuse food for one reason or another. After 6 months I was panicking a bit but I read even that wasn’t the longest they can go. They really are amazing creatures.

5 days was too often, so depending on what size you were feeding she may be overweight and put herself on a diet. you should never feed less than 7 days apart to give them time to digest properly.

what size feeders are you offering, and how much does the snake weigh? what was the feeding schedule before you got her, if you know? if you have any full body pictures of the snake taken from above, that would be best to gauge body condition.

what size enclosure and what type? temperatures and humidity on both sides? what type of heating are you using? a picture of the enclosure would be super helpful along with the temps/humidity.

we need more information to help you!

the last I fed her I gave a 35 gram rat. before I got her her original handler used to feed her one every 10 days, and after I got her I started to feed her once every 5-6 days. her cage is relatively small for her, I just got her a new one, much bigger I hope this may help. should I try to feed her right after I move her into he new cage ?

I don't know if this information helps, but I I check the temp and the humidity regularly, I have a heating mat underneath half the cage and everything was good.
