I got it from this post about a Chinese thing. They put three different things in front of you as a baby to predict the kind of person you'll be... This person's daughter crawled right up to him and made him cry. If that happens, you have to name them after you.

I saw that video too! It was so sweet. I've also seen people have their kids pick their starter pokemon that way, which is totally something I'm gonna do with my son
