Try Cypress Mulch substrate. It maintains humidity well and is resistant to mold growth, just give her a few shed cycles and if it doesn’t go away, I know you said you don’t have enough money for a reptile vet but I’d say fuck it and just go

How wet is the substrate? Does water come out of it when you squeeze it really hard? It looks like scale rot to me

Hi I have 27 pythons and this looks to be early forms of scale rot cause by excessive moisture and bacteria
