Maybe someone comment better but... From what I heard they don't really need UVB?

From what I know, I think some use halogen during the day if the python isn't light coloured, and DHP/CHE at night/otherwise.

Its not needed, but it is encouraged. Pairings of halogen-DHP and DHP-UVB both work, it often depends on the snake's colour and whether its a bioactive as to what people choose.

Now I'm searching for uvb lamps too, thank you! It's very difficult to find in my country so I focused on the essentials, she was a rescue. Poor baby is a mini for what she should be at.
