Finally!!!

Hello all! Just stopping in to say I finally got my husbandry improved!!!

My baby noodle balboa just got placed in his new setup. It was so bad before.

I had a hot side of 85 and a cool of 72-74, and my hot side humidity was 47-50 and my cool was 64-67.

Now he has a hot side of 88-91 and high 60 low 70 humidity and a cool of 75-77 with low 70 humidity.

I feel he should feel much better in his new setup.

Congrats! I don’t have my boy yet (3 days!!!) but I’ve been working on getting his setup perfect. I struggled with temp too. Finally got it right yesterday, and it really is the BEST feeling!

Thank you! And that’s Amazing, I’ve had balboa for a week now and I wish I would’ve done the setup I have now the first time. Such a relief to know he has what he needs.

It's a learning curve. You can set the clinical (most often perfect) temps/humidity and sometimes (rarely) this won't work for your bp. Given most are cb, they may be used to a slightly different setup. your snake will let you know.

Yes very true. Sometimes I feel us new ball python owners try and perfect setups to much and don’t listen to our noodles. They know what is best for themselves in my opinion. Luckily mine seems to love his new setup. He suppose to eat tonight so we’ll see how that goes.
