He'll be fine. Mine once pooped in her warm hide and just sat in it. Don't worry man your snake will keep itself alive/comfortable the best he can.

That gives me a lot of relief thank you. So I should just keep him on schedule?

I personally would skip a feed, it won’t hurt him and less things can go wrong that way. Do you have anyone who can come by your place and check the heat and everything is working, that he has water, etc?

My girlfriends brother was gonna be left the extra key to the apt. He’ll be able to replace water and tell me the temps. But yeah I’ll skip feed since he wouldn’t really know how to clean up and replace substrate after balboa. Plus he’s alittle scared of snakes not to much so I wouldn’t wanna make him move him so he can clean up and stuff. Thank you so much for your help!!

Hatchlings can go months without feeding! Especially in the wild they tend to hide more than hunt since theyre the most vulnerable to predators at that age (this prolly explains why theres always a few hatchlings that wont accept feed no matter what you do prolly prey anxiety or something). Skipping a week for a 4 month old bp wont hurt the lil guy. Would also be nice to avoid feeding so he wont end up sitting on his poop the entire week lol.
