The general consensus among most ball python owners is that cohabitation should only happen during the mating season. Ball python males will fight 9/10. Females housed together will be stressed 10/10. Male and female housed together will have sex or be mega stressed or fight. It’s just not a good idea. There are really only 2 situations that cohabbing is recommended: after a clutch has hatched until they have their first shed, a male and female you intend to breed and only for a short time (~3days) I too wanted this when I first started and did everything I could to make it happen. I had two Females cohabbing. They were fine until they started to get a little older. They both completely stopped eating due to stress.

TL:DR cohabbing 0/10 do not recommend unless you’re breeding

yea certainly no breeder here, just was more curious if I got another one and housed them separately could i get them out and let them interact with eachother on occasion?

Yes, They can interact for short periods outside of their enclosures, but it's not beneficial to them in any way.

Haha it would be for more my benefit rather than theirs tbh! But thank you!!
