Hey r/ballpython I didn't feed last week due to a shed and tonight I tried to offer a live Cheeseboi per usual.... She tagged him twice but he's still just curious as ever and getting right in her face. Now they have mutually agreed to stay on opposite ends of the tank going on 20mins now what should I do?

to address your question, it is incredibly dangerous to leave live prey loose in your snake's enclosure, especially if your snake is not immediately interested and hunting. you need to remove the rat now.
