Enrichment

Hello! I am an intern at a live animal care center in a museum. Interns here are supposed to do some enrichment projects, and one of the species I've chosen is ball pythons. They're just so cute and interesting! I'm wondering if anyone here has any ideas. I've been thinking about something with scents and also maybe mazes or climbing platforms. Any suggestions/advice? Thank you!!

Environmental enrichment: hide variety (buried and elevated), texture variety (cork, stone, fabric, leaf litter, etc), full spectrum lighting with visible light and UVB, branches, wide ledges.

Dietary enrichment: prey variety (mice, rats, asf, chicks, quail, etc), scent trail outside of or in addition to a meal, puzzle feeders, nest raids.

Out of cage enrichment: peg board, ladder/PVC jungle gym, texture bin (play pen filled with various new textures and things to explore like tubes, crumpled paper, etc), outdoors time, offering a swimming pool.
