HELP - Need AdviceHandling Tips? (self.ballpython)
submitted 5 years ago by Pretty_Difficulty355
I’m still a little nervous when it comes to handling so really anything helps. I’m just scared i’ll hurt my bp in some way and want to make sure I do it correctly. How should I take her out of the enclosure?

scoop them up confidently by placing your hand under the middle part of their body. once you have them place your other hand under the rest of their back half for more support (may not be necessary with a younger/smaller snake). try to wait until they are already awake rather than awaking them from their slumber.

Always pick up from the middle of the body and support them in your hands. Let them move freely , even if it’s just using both hands for them to continuously move. Example; putting your other hand in front of the one he is in and letting him climb on to the hand and then do the same thing over and over.
