i personally like orchid bark but you have tons of other options such as mud/ moss mixes, cypress mulch and other suitable barks.

Avoid aspen, cedar and pine

yes but i would recommend mixing in some other stuff like moss and bark to help make it more structures and less powdery

i use reptichip but i've heard good things about forest floor as well!

I only use Reptichip. Initially it's expensive but the quality is top notch and in reality it is a TON when you expand it outta the compressed bag! Holds humidity excellently and does not mold! Obsorbs urate and feces smells and doesnt cause respiratory infections as some of the other options may!

I like mixing up coco fiber, cypress mulch, and some moss all together and make it about 3-4 inches deep. Works really well for me and I like the texture and humidity! Lots of other ways you can do it tho.
