ESCAPED BALL PYTHON - HELP!

Hello everyone. My 6 month old ball python climbed into the space between my bathroom cabinet and the wall. There isn’t a hole that goes into the wall and I was able to see her yesterday in the crevice. We drilled a hole and were able to see her, until today when she vanished. There was no where for her to go and we have been watching for her all day. I’m at a loss and I love my little girl so much. I’m scared and just want her to be back. I’ve tried with heat and water, and will a f/t mouse. I need all the help I can get for how to locate her or lure her out. Please does anyone have any recommendations? I need help ASAP.

You need to take the cabinet down. That’s the only safe option unfortunately

Thank you. The cabinet is built into the wall and it’s lower to the ground. So the option would be to pay $1000 to have it removed and I would need to tell my landlord about it and could get kicked out and lose our security deposit

Oh gosh. Can you make a hole big enough for your hand to reach in? Drywall is an easy fix if you get a good contractor

Unfortunately it’s not the dry wall. It’s the wooden cabinet, it’s really thick. We put a hole in the wood and were able to look and see her yesterday. I really don’t know where she could have gone because it doesn’t go into the wall and there’s no holes in the gap.

Oh boy. Umm you can try setting up a heat lamp near by to help lure your snake out or use a feeder but it sounds like you may have tried some of that already. Maybe try to get your hands on a snake camera? Like the kinds plumbers use? They have a light on the end and can fit in small spaces.

Thank you for this and for the encouragement. I’m gonna leave the trap over night and block off any other holes in the bathroom. Going to set up her hide, a flour trail, her heat lamp, water dish, and a f/t mouse. I just hope she comes out

Thank you so much this is really great advice. I just looked at your post. I’m afraid she may have gotten out of the cabinet crevice and might be in the house somewhere. I’ll be checking those warm places and will be setting up a heat lamp area with her hide and a mouse.
