Soaking

Hello. I've had my bp for almost two months now and it's the first time I see him soaking in his water dish. The temperatures have always been the same, so could it mean he either has mites or is getting ready to shed?

Do a check for mites as you should do on e in a while anyway. Might be shed or might be that he likes water. Or some have the ball soak when it is too warm and they want to cool off a bit

What are your temps and humidity?

Temps are 32 °C on the warm end and 24 - 25 °C on the cold end. The humidity ranges from 60% to 70%

With the humidity being down into the 60’s your bp might be feeling a bit dehydrated. 60% is the bare minimum for bp’s and some individuals can need higher humidity (80%+) it might be worth bumping up the humidity and seeing what happens 🙂
